My Marilyn Monroe Moment

So as my friends keep telling me 2012 is going to be my year so I'm going to write about my life as much as I can throughout the year but with a slight twist, I'm going to wear a piece of vintage everyday, take a photo and write about it. It will also be about me and my single life working in fashion.

So I'm going to start from 31st December 2011, I wore a black vintage dress from Rokit and a fur trimmed coat also vintage. As well as it being New Years Eve it was also my very good friends birthday so it was a very drunken night to say the least. The dress as you can see was mid calf so not too slutty until I stepped outside for my social marlborough light. The wind picked up my dress revealing to all and Shoreditch, it was a real Marilyn Monroe moment (without the platinum blonde hair, Hollywood career and style icon status!) Oh well I can but try. It was however a great night out with some great friends, great food and even better wine! Unfortunately there were no hot men to admire so I just tucked into the wine instead and had a good dance with the girls.

The hangover yesterday was a great start to the new year which has continued today and as I write this I have literally been super glued to the sofa watching a barrage of 90's films.

Back to work tomorrow so the vintage mission can start in full! x
