First and foremost a happy mothers day to my wonderful mother who is one in a million. So in honour of Mum here is a photo of her circa 1966 with my Aunty Maria and a photo of me and her when I was about 4. I know what you're thinking 'what a cutie Laura was' and you'll be right I was and sometimes I still am, that is though until the pinot comes out to play! I think you'll all agree though that Mum looks amazing in both photo's. Mummy Knightley you are my inspiration and my role model. The lady is on her 6th career....I cant even make one happen. Today Mum this post it dedicated to you.

Let's cast today's blog back to Friday when I found myself in possession of a ipad and today's blog is coming straight from the said iPad. This means the following:

1. I will be able to blog on the move which means more posts, maybe even daily!
2. My technological journey has moved into 5th gear and I'm doing 70mph on the motorway. Considerising that this time 2 years ago I wasn't even on Facebook I have not only embraced technology but I'm having a full blown relationship with it! Facebook, Twitter, iPhone, iPad I'm like a technology geek in overdrive!

So yesterday was St Patricks day and being half Irish means that it's illegal for me not to go out and celebrate, and celebrate I did in true Irish style. I wore a black vintage dress, with a green belt and my Topshop colour block heels......oh and my new blonde hair! They say blondes have more fun and I certainly did. Here are a few photos from last night. I think you'll agree that I didn't let the Irish down at all.

Back to today and Mothers day. Me and Mum went to see the 'Exotic Marigold Hotel' and now I have 2 new obsessions; Bill Nighy and India. Both are beautiful, one is maybe a little old for me and one a long way from home but I would like both in my life please. So if anyone needs me I'll be in India with my mate Bill.

I then took Mum for lunch at Chiquito (me and Mum are pure class...you can take the girl out of Walthamstow but you cant take the Walthamstow out of the girl!) and to my delight the restaurant was running 'Mums eat for free' deal. Best news I had all day! For the said event I wore a vintage bunny jumper (its almost Easter so its OK) from Beyond Retro, Primark jeans and those mind green pumps again!

I hope you all had a lovely Mothering Sunday as I know I did. I would also like to say Happy Mother's Day to my dear Great Aunty Molly who not only is a wonderful lady but a strong one too and at 89 is still such an inspiration. Love you very much Aunty Molly and don't forget you have the luck of the Irish xxx
